The Dispositor

Terms of Use

The rules for using The Dispositor: what the app is for, what you agree to when you use it, how subscriptions work, and what we are responsible for.

Who these terms are with

The Dispositor is published by Emine Sungur, an individual developer based in Türkiye, referred to here as "we" or "us". By using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which says what we do with your data.

You get the app from Apple's App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to it too. Apple's agreement covers your licence to install and run the app. These terms cover the service behind it: your account, the readings and the subscriptions. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the service.

What the app is

Astrology content in this app is interpretive, reflective, and for educational and entertainment purposes only. It does not predict the future, diagnose conditions, or constitute medical, legal, or financial advice.

Readings describe tendencies for you to think about. For a decision about your health, money, safety or legal position, talk to someone qualified.

Charts are calculated from published astronomical data. A chart is only as accurate as the birth details entered for it, so a wrong time or place gives a wrong chart.

Your account

The app works without signing up: on first launch it makes an account for your phone. You can attach Sign in with Apple or Google so your charts follow you to another phone.

You must be at least 13 to use The Dispositor. In the European Economic Area you must be 16, or have a parent's or guardian's agreement, unless local law sets a lower age. Asking (questions about a reading, Reflect, and their follow-ups) is for readers 18 and over.

Keep your phone and your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what is done through your account. If you think someone else has used it, write to support@thedispositor.com.

Charts of other people

Only add another person's birth details if they are comfortable with you doing so (Privacy Policy §3). Do not use the app to profile, track or harass anyone.

AI answers

Some answers are written by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. The app asks your permission before it sends your first question, and says what the question carries (Privacy Policy §5).

AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent, even about the chart in front of you. Read them as you would any reflective writing, and check anything that matters.

Each plan includes a number of AI answers a week, and the count starts again every Monday. On the free plan, asking needs a signed-in account. We can lower or pause AI answers to stop abuse or to protect the service, and the app may decline a question it is not built to answer.

Do not use AI questions to produce anything unlawful or harmful, or to get around these limits.

Subscriptions

The Dispositor is free to use. Paid plans, when offered, are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store. The app shows each plan's price, length and what it includes before you buy.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the same length and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged to your Apple ID within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • To manage or cancel a subscription, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Apple handles refunds under its own rules. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Prices can change. Apple tells you before a price increase applies, and asks for your agreement where its rules require it.

Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Settings, or it keeps renewing.

Using it fairly

Do not:

  • copy, scrape or resell the app's readings, or use them to train AI models;
  • reverse engineer, overload or attack the app or our servers, or try to reach other people's accounts or data;
  • use the app for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We will tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.

What belongs to whom

The app and its writing, design and code belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may use them through the app, for yourself; that right is personal and you cannot pass it on.

What you write in the app stays yours: your questions, notes and the names you give charts. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.

You can keep and share the readings and answers you receive for personal, non-commercial use.

Changes

We keep working on the app, so features change. We may add, change or remove features, and we will tell you in the app before a change takes away something you paid for.

If we ever close the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app, with time to ask for a copy of your data.

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. For a change that matters, we tell you in the app before it applies. If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your account and cancel any subscription.

Liability

We provide the app as it is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or interruptions.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on readings, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for The Dispositor in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow us to limit, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

Write to us first. Most problems are solved by email.
